Uyïva'tal
The Uyïva'tal were the official Imperial Explorers of the Kara'tal Empire. Their tasks were to discover new lands ripe for settlement, map the world and establish colonies far and wide; to spread the influence of Kara'tal to all corners of the globe.
Etymology
The word Uyïva'tal is a compound word that stems from the Karatalan word uyï, meaning 'land'. The second part, va, simply translates as 'go forth', while the last part, tal, is the Karatalan word for 'collective'. In this instance, the collective refers to a group of people, much the same as the name of the Empire refers to its subjects.

Those who go forth to new land
