Through focused worship and ritual, energy was given shape to embody the belief, and ideals, of the worshippers. They unknowingly surrendered parts of their own life energy to create an ethereal being, with its own consciousness. A slave to the prayers of its makers, the Ethereals are bound, but ever seeking to break free of their chains.
