Pelecq
Born in 574af, Pelecq (pronounced pey-leck) was a member of the Vadr tribe. He was the confidant of Naruâl, chieftain of the Vadr, and considered instrumental by Naruâl in helping achieve the unity of the Uryc people. Despite being older than Naruâl, Pelecq learned much from his chieftain; compassion, honour, and righteousness. While he never held a position of power amongst the Uryc, his honour was admired by many and treated with respect.
After Naruâl died, Pelecq became an advisor to his successor, Râcqva, ensuring that Naruâl's philosophies would be carried down in the generations to come. He was unofficially deemed the first Fâi'il Desmes to the Emperor of Zycaina, although the official position was only created after Pelecq's death, when Râcqva realised just how much of a void was left by his passing.
He died, peacefully, as an old man, in 650af.
