Sasael
Sasael (pronounced shash-ale), is one of the independent city states on Garilleon. Prior to the Cataclysm, it was a colony of the Kara'tal Empire, then known as Sarashasael (pronounced cha-ra-shasa-el).
History
One of the first distant colonies formed by the Kara'tal Empire, Sasael has a long and rich history spanning almost a millennia.
Discovery (938pa)
On the 3rd week of spring, 938pa, the Uyïva'tala Kharlan Meândir made first landfall on the northern coast of Garilleon.
Founding (972pa)
Just 24 years after discovering the bountiful coast of Northern Garilleon, the colonial settlers started to arrive, establishing a small trading port at the mouth of the river Haeasas.
Independence (1219pa)
Almost a year after the Cataclysm, once they had established contact with the other colonies and determined the state of total destruction of mainland Kara'tal, Sarashasael declared its independence to become the first Free City of Garilleon.
