Zycaina Empire

Officially, the Empire of Zycaina (pronounced tseer-kay-nah) was formed circa 654af, from a merging of the Urcy'kha Alliance with the Hhalkna. However, it was only after the eruption of Mt Zeyr in 718af that the Empire really grew to prominence on the continent of Zyraia.

Urycquan

Urycquan was a divided nation. For many years there was a constant state of war between the 27 tribes. In 593af, Makjan, the father of Naruâl, was brutally slaughtered, prompting Naruâl to begin a 25 year endeavour to change the ways of the Uryc and unite the tribes. In 618af, Naruâl succeeded. In order to keep the peace, he turned the Uryc's attention outward, begin an era of expansion which brought about the Uryc'kha Alliance and the rise of the Zycaina Empire.

Alqavi

Up until 612af, Alqavi ruled the midlands of Zyraia, as well as the foothills of the northern territories. Between 607-612af, a great civil war, the Qavikan split the nation. Of the two factions, the Ereqavi were the victors, claiming the rich and bountiful midlands. The Faqavi were relegated to the north, heavily weakened with few able-bodied men left alive. It was no surprise, then, that they soon discovered themselves at the mercy of the Uryc.

Aeghvera

Aeghvera (pronounced ay-zhveer-ah), is an island north east of Zyraia. The island is mostly uninhabited, although abundant with life. The island is covered in lush vegetation and a variety of exotic life roam the land, drawn to an excess of magic leaking into the world.

Zeyr

The Zeyr region is the area directly surrounding Mt Zeyr in the southern half of Zyraia. Once rich, fertile farmland, this was a prosperous region. However, in 673AF the volcano erupted, spreading a carpet of ash for a hundred miles. Now, the land south west of Mt Zeyr remains desolate and abandoned.
